mochi and kingsley have an ongoing game that they play together where they take each others toy du jour and hide it from the other one. right now mochi has stolen kingsleys and is frantically running around the house, testing out putting it behind pillows and trying to find the perfect place, while simultaneously making wimpering sounds, that i can’t tell if it is her laughing at her self or crying over the stress of finding the perfect place. 

you know when youre out during the day and you see someone and you think to yourself “i think i know that person but i dont know why…” and then you realize that you saw them at a bar one time. and then you sort of feel connected to that person on some level even though you’ve never met, you both were at that bar on that same night.

anyway, that just happened to me… at the park… with a baby. 

never be intimidated by someone who copies you. the sequel is NEVER better than the original.

happy birthday to my mother!! if there is one thing in my life that i can certainly thank my mother for it is for my confidence. she never tried to change me even when i wanted to wear the most ridiculous of outfits to school. she always asked me “do you like it?” and when i said “yes” she said “then wear it! who cares!” one year my mom took me back to school shopping but we had to stick to the necessities since there were 3 of us… but i wanted these hot pink jeans so badly. she told me i couldn’t get them, but a few days later i came home from school and they were on my bed. they had gone on sale and she had remembered them!! the best mom ever. i am so lucky. besides the above story she is also the most loving, caring and welcoming woman i know.  happy birthday mom!! i love you.
